The main task of an artist is to create art, also the main challenge is to live off the masterpieces that they create. Always it happened that the artists are people, who can not survive in this material world, as the most of them haven’t got any potential for selling things to earn money. Even the Salvador Dali, person who introduced himself as a genius understood that this job: selling art wasn’t his task. He was very lucky to found he’s muse Gala, she helped him a lot: not only inspired him to create art, but as a materialistic person she managed he’s business. This situation is very common in the world, because without any help from outside an artist can hardly survive. Other example of such help was in the Renaissance times, when rich people patronized an artists, may be in this case we now can see these masterpieces of the geniuses like: Leonardo, Rafael, ect.

What is happening today with the world of art, are there still people, who want to support artists? Now we have very useful thing – sponsorship. With the help of it both artist and the sponsor can get a gain: first is going to sell he’s work and make people interested in it, second can make people know about what he’s doing and off course he can earn money from sponsorship. How does it work exactly: for example, one artist wants to create an exhibition, then to get money for it he is calling for companies and he make them interested in what he’s doing. Sponsor gave money to an artist and he’s label will be presented on the adverts and posters during the exhibition and also he will get some money from it. You have to remember that sponsorship it is not just the way to support an artist – it is the deal between both: sponsor and sponsored to get the benefits.

In conclusion i can say that sponsorship is modern way to come for a common benefit for an artists and people interested in professional advancement with the help of art projects, where they can put money.
